Vintage 2017

A vintage marked by average and maximum temperatures above the values of the last ten years, along with a low level of rain. All the same, it is under these conditions that our vineyards and our grape showed us their incredible capacity, not only to survive, but also to give us a small quantity of the very highest quality. One of the earliest and shortest spring harvests that we can remember.

Vintage 2018

With a snowfall in February, 2018 has been a year with abundant rainfall in spring and autumn, with records well above average. Very high temperatures peaks during the day in July and August. A warm September, refreshed again by the rain to obtain healthy, tasty and very balanced grapes.

Vintage 2019

The year is to be remembered for the heatwave that lasted until the end of June, with temperatures of up to 43 °C that especially affected the Carignan. A hot summer, but with showers that cooled off the vines. Optimal conditions continued through the end of August resulting in grapes that were concentrated and well balanced. Great quality with slightly lower yields.

Vintage 2020

Early year. The high temperatures caused the plants to begin their vegetative growth phase 2 to 3 weeks earlier than normal. This moving up of the cycle, combined with the intense spring rains and the high temperatures, generated the “perfect storm” for the development of mildew. A dry summer accelerated the ripening process, so that the harvest was begun a week before the usual time. The resulting grape was very high quality. One of the shortest harvested and the smallest yields in the last 10 years.

Vintage 2021

A heavy snowfall in January left good water reserves. The spring was dry and cool, with good vegetative growth. The summer followed the trend of low temperatures with more rain than normal. Overall, a cooler and wetter summer. Grapes ripened slowly and the harvest began a week later than usual. A vintage with abundant grapes, good acidity, contained alcohol content and perfect ripening. Long life 2021!
