Murmuri 2023


Fresh, lively, very aromatic. The freshness of the Siurana River as it passes through Poboleda.

Varieties and vineyards

90% White Grenache and 10% Macabeu.

Soil and climate

Slopes with steep slopes of "llicorella" slate (25%) and clay-calcareous soils (75%).

Elaboration and agening

Manual harvest. Rigorous selection of the whole bunches. The gently destemmed grapes go through the pneumatic press and the must ferments in stainless steel tanks. Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished, we protect the wine to avoid malolactic fermentation. Aging: 3 months in stainless steel tanks, in contact with the lees.


18,000 bottles in February 2024.


Alcohol content: 13% vol. pH 3. Total acidity: 4.4 g / L


Vintage 2023

2023 was another dry and warm year. The first part of the year had very little
rain and the vineyard had very poor budding. This accumulated drought and
the abnormal heat for the season caused flowering to be 15 days early
and the plants began to suffer too early. The change came at
the end of spring in the form of rain. Between May and June, 150 litres
fell in Poboleda and made a difference for the rest of the year. The
shoots doubled in length, the grapes swelled and the plants regained
strength and vigour. A couple of storms in summer rounded things off and
allowed the vineyard to reach the end of ripening in strength.
